Selected Projects
Statesville Civic Center
The Statesville Civic Center is a multi-purpose facility designed to be a landmark yet blend with the architectural heritage of Historic Downtown Statesville. The interior is flexible to provide space for trade shows and community events. A porte cochere was included for convenience.
Moretz Mills
Moretz Mills was originally constructed in 1929 as a hosiery mill in Downtown Hickory. CBSA designed a complete restoration of the 88,000 SF complex for adaptive reuse as multi-tenant, multi-use space. The project was phased beginning with hazardous waste removal, selective demolition and restoration of shell items. Interior renovations include new plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems as well as updating all life safety systems to meet current accessibility standards.

A mezzanine of approximately 1,551 SF is designed within the bay area to accommodate training exercises and storage. Exterior masonry walls surround a pre-engineered metal building structure.
